Pinching the screen, scrolling up and down, tilting your phone - just some of the ways you've struggled to get a better look at pictures of a product you are interested in.  Read how we tackled this and built a great interface to show off our product images!

Have you ever been frustrated by the shopping experience because you couldn't see the product image fit (the size of) your screen? For example, did you ever have to scroll up and then scroll down to see the entire image? Or did you have to pinch or zoom the image to see details of an image, only to see a blurry or pixelated mess? We did! And we don't like it!  So we set out to fix that on our site.

KAQE prides itself on doing the right thing the right way. We believe that that starts with your online shopping experience.

We at KAQE want to make the shopping experience clear, complete, and helpful for our customers. Therefore, we use an approach that always shows you an entire product image, whether on a phone, mobile device, laptop, or desktop. And we always show you images with great detail. How did we do it?

First, we identified all possible layouts that would render a product image along with other modules. We determined the most relevant placement for all modules in each layout, ensuring that the product image was the most prominent one.

Next, we designed an image module that always expands to fit the available height and width of the screen, regardless of size or orientation, to show the entire image as large as possible. In other words, you will always see a complete image on the screen by default. No more scrolling, pinching, zooming or rotating your device just to see the entire image.

Finally, because our customers want to see the details of a hem, or the buttons, or the neckline of a piece, we use very high resolution images that give you an opportunity to zoom into any part of the image with clarity.
